Team DeRisi Racing joined the GNCC racing family for the final race of the season at the historic Loretta Lynn’ Ranch. Each team rider showed up confident and ready to battle it out in the hills of Hurricane Mills, TN. With class championships on the line, it proved to be a trying, yet successful weekend of racing.
Team DeRisi Racing joined over 10,000 other racers and spectators at the infamous Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, IN. Round 12 of the series greeted racers with nasty mud holes, deep water crossings, and the toughest hill climbs that they have encountered all season. Team DeRisi was prepared for the challenge and anxious to chalk up a few more wins.
Braden Henthorn has found himself in a fierce battle for the XC2 Pro Am Championship. Heading into this race, he was holding 2nd in points and was looking for a win to close the gap on the leader. Braden had a good start and quickly found himself inside the top five. On lap 3, Braden took over the lead and began to gap the field. He continued to ride smart and went on to win his fourth race of the season. Braden now holds the XC2 points lead by six points going into the final round.
Team DeRisi headed into Round 9 of the GNCC Series at Unadilla Valley Sports Center ready to battle. Although the summer break gave the riders a chance to recoup, relax, and rebuild, everyone was anxious to hear the “10 seconds” call and take the green flag. Carter Kerens started the day off right by taking the win in the 90 Open (8-11) class. Carter put in a spectacular ride and led the race from start to finish. He was able to secure 4th Overall in the Youth ATV race, which pushed him into 3rd in points with three races remaining.
DERISI RACING ANNOUNCES CONTINGENCY PROGRAM
CASAR, NC, January 10, 2011– DeRisi Racing has released the details of their new 2011 GNCC contingency program which will stretch throughout the entire thirteen rounds of the GNCC Series. GNCC competitors will be required to meet certain criteria to qualify for the contingency. Racers who meet the established requirements will be eligible to earn credit for their finishes which can be applied to future orders and/or services offered by DeRisi Racing.
